Kyocera Network Printer

I have server 2012r2 configured as a printer server for both a Kyocera and Gestetner network printer, using Custom boxes.
I can only print office (docx, xlsx) on the Kyocera network printer. PDF's brings up a stored job error. Everything prints ok on the Gestetner. Anyone else experienced this?
