As I said in the other thread I use this printer / scanner for only scanning.
I've wanted to scan a few documents for a while and decided it was time. What I'm seeing are lines of blank space going top to bottom of the scanned image. Almost as if the LED (??) that illuminate that section of the paper aren't lit. I'm suspecting dirt / dust (I live in the desert dust is a normal part of life) but have no idea how to access the scanner and not sure that I could solve the problem, even is I could get to it.
Anyone have any ideas on the cause and / or cure??
