So far i have used only Ink jet printers. Now planning to purchase a laser.
Apart from the conventional office and personal uses, I need to print a lot of pdf e books - that is my main purpose in going for a laser now.(not for commercial, but my personal use- 'lot' didn't mean 1000s btw Hi)
Since pdf books can be conveniently printed only through a duplex I am planning to go for one. If a use a printer without duplex facility, the entire printing will be wasted if printer took two papers by accident while printing odd or even pages.
I think I am clear about the intentions behind my decision.(Suggestions welcome).
Then - my vendor gives me an opinion to go for cannon lower end duplex costs around 10000/INR.
Please give Suggestions and opinion. As with almost any purchase a compromise between initial expense, recurring expense and complaint rate are the concerns.
I am totally new to laser printers.
