Problem with Multipage Document in Letter Size to Be Printed on Legal Size Paper

I have a multipage document type in default for a letter size but when tried to print on a legal size papeer

the document is getting printed not fully utilizing the size of the paper ie, leaving the lower hlaf of the paper

blank and again printing on another page.can some one guide me how to optimize the printing on to a

legal size paper without tediously reformatting each page .

I think your printer is designed to automatically detect what paper size is in the tray. As a result, you'll get margin errors if you don't format your document with the same paper size that is in the paper tray. You can set the paper size settings in your printer to letter size if it has this option in a menu / display.
