Scanning on FS-1025MFP

Hey.
I am unable to scan on my Kyocera FS-1025MFP as the SCAN button the Kyocera Client tool is missing. I can print via the network but I cannot scan.
My PC is a windows 7 service pack one PC.
Attached are the images showing my situation.
Kindly assist. Why is the scan option missing?
