Scanning with MX892

Hi, I just bought a Canon MX892. I am learning how to scan doc. I want to adjust the magnification, brightness and contrast of the scan. I cannot find any instruction how to do this. In fact I have a hard time finding instructions as it did not come with a book.

I looked around and sounds like I am supposed to have the ScanGear software, but I don't. Is that the one that I can do what I want? If yes, how can I download this software if it is not in the CD provided?

Your MX892 probably isn't that much different than my MP990 AIO.

You can get full .pdf manuals, latest drivers, and any software it came with from the Canon web-site:
