Desktop printer

I am looking for a desktop colour printer with a small footprint. Ideally, as I have a small space, I want to be able to store things on top of the printer. Is there such a model available.

Canon (and probably other manufacturers) make models that are print-only, rather than all-in-one with copy and scan (and sometimes fax) capabilities. They tend to have a smaller footprint, and also be less weight. Also less to go wrong.

One of my favorite printers is an older CLI-8 based iP4500, which is smaller and lighter than a semi-equivalent MX850 with the same print-head.
