We have two Ricoh MP's which are set to print duplex by default. The print server setting is 'Open to Left' for both portrait and landscape.
For any Adobe PDF document in landscape (in Reader and Acro), when this printer is selected the default setting in the print dialogue is 'Print on both sides' and 'Flip on long edge'. The problem is the second page is always reversed, so I assume there is some conflict with the Ricoh default setting. The fix has been to manually choose 'Flip on short edge' for any landscape document and it prints correctly, but we are trying to make this as user-friendly as possible without any manual changes needed.
This is not an issue with any MS Office doc as it does print correctly on 'long edge'.
Thanks.
