Hi all, run out of magenta toner on above printer. Had 2 different toner sets off Amazon, neither works....printer just doesn’t recognise the cartridges and continues to display “replace magenta toner cartridge”. None of the replacement cartridges state that they should have a chip....and if they do have one, they don’t work. I’ve tried the soft reset options on the internet but can’t get into the toner reset screen. It seems ludicrous to have to throw away a new printer after 3 months because it’s cheaper to buy a new one with toners than have to buy OEM toner from brother. Any ideas if there’s anything I can do?
