Hello!
I have recently bought a new Canon Pixma MX925 printer.
Since some time Canon does NOT provide its firmware updates to the consumers any more.
Instead Canon installs the new firmware over LAN more or less secretly directly on the printer. Meaning, the printer itself goes to the Canon server and looks the new firmware up.
But I want to administer the firmware myself.
How can I show the Canon server, I would be a Canon printer, and download the new firmware (, if there is one) ?
