Hello,

I bought the Magicolour 2500W from Amazon.co.uk recently, and tried to install the printer yesterday only to discover that the USB cable to connect the printer to my computer was missing. I emailed them to get one sent out to me, but they claim that this item is sold seperately. I think this is nonsense and told them so. They cannot seriously be telling the truth can they?

The full details of my conversation with tech support as follows:

Me: I bought this printer from Amazon recently and tried to install the printer tonight. However, I found that the USB cable to connect the printer to the computer was not included in the package. Please could one be sent out me?

Them: Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your mail.

I’m afraid this printer model is not shipped with a USB cable.
This cable must be purchased separately.

I’m sorry for this inconvenience.

Me: What rubbish, of course the printer is supposed to come with a cable to connect it to the computer. The instruction booklet certainly says it comes with a USB cable. Would you please give me a sensible answer to my original question?

Still awaiting reply...

Thanks for your help, folks.
